Ok, I’ve realized it’s slightly harder to ignore pop culture then I would have thought. This morning I turned on to MSNBC and noticed there was a news ticker that shows entertainment news along with everything else. Also, one of the first stories they showed was about Mel Gibson! Fortunately I changed channel right away. Anyways here’s some additional rules to limit my pop culture intake.
13.Do not read news tickers.
14.I will avoid looking at magazine covers and posters for new movies.
15.I will not watch trailers for new movies.

Update:I’ve noticed I’ve been looking up a couple of celebrities on Wikipedia hence this new rule:
16.I will not look up any celebrities on Wikipedia except those who star on Glee.
